How we handle the information you submit through MovingDirt.com. Last updated July 17, 2026.
MovingDirt.com is a marketplace for bulk and aggregate freight — dirt, sand, gravel, stone, base, fill, C&D debris, and bulk commodities generally — wholly owned and operated by Freight Broker Group LLC, a licensed property freight broker (USDOT #4413464, MC #1734098), with its principal office at 519 Mishler Rd #2, Mogadore, OH 44260, phone (330) 293-5401. In this policy, "we," "us," and "the Company" refer to Freight Broker Group LLC. This policy describes how we handle information collected through the MovingDirt.com website.
We collect the information you choose to submit through our forms, which may include:
Carrier applications: legal business name and DBA, USDOT and MC numbers, contact name, phone, email, years in operation, equipment type, number of trucks, and service area.
Contractor applications: legal business name, EIN, any contractor license number and state, contact name, phone, email, business address, typical materials, and estimated booking volume.
Booking requests: your account contact details, the unit requested, requested dates, hours, and the quoted amount.
Driver verification and unit-assignment submissions: driver name, date of birth, CDL number, state, class, and expiration, and unit numbers used to fulfill a booking.
We also automatically record limited technical information with each submission — the IP address it came from, the browser user-agent string, and the time of submission — which we use only to prevent spam and abuse. We do not use this technical data to build advertising profiles.
Documents you may later be asked to provide during verification (such as a certificate of insurance, W-9, or CDL image) are handled as part of the verification workflow and are not stored through the website's public forms.
We use the information you submit to: verify carrier operating authority and insurance and contractor business standing; contact you by phone or email to complete verification and coordinate bookings; administer bookings, held funds, and proof-of-delivery records; maintain compliance and recordkeeping obligations that apply to a licensed freight broker; and detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the platform. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to operate the marketplace and meet our obligations. That can include sharing relevant details between a matched carrier and contractor for a booking, sharing information with the service providers who host our site and send our email (acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations), and disclosing information where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to enforce our agreements and protect the rights and safety of the parties. We rely on public FMCSA records (safer.fmcsa.dot.gov) to verify authority; querying those public records does not disclose your private form data.
MovingDirt.com does not collect or store full payment card numbers on its own servers. When live payment processing is enabled, card details are handled by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor, and we receive only the confirmation and limited transaction details needed to administer held funds and payouts. Any card fields shown on the current site are a non-functional demonstration and do not transmit or store card data.
We keep submission records for as long as needed to operate the platform, complete verification, administer bookings and held funds, and satisfy the recordkeeping and audit obligations that apply to a licensed property broker, after which we delete or anonymize them. Anti-spam technical logs (such as the per-IP rate-limit ledger) are pruned automatically on a rolling basis.
We serve the site over HTTPS, restrict form submissions to our own origin, apply spam and rate-limiting controls, and store submissions in an access-controlled database. Notification email is sent over authenticated, encrypted connections where available. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures designed to protect the information you provide.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted, subject to the recordkeeping obligations described above, by contacting us using the details below. If you receive an acknowledgement or notification email from us and no longer wish to receive them, you can reply to ask us to stop. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor those rights as required.
The current site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future to understand how the site is used, we will use privacy-respecting configurations and update this policy to describe what is collected and how to opt out.
